Governance

James Smith Health Clinic is governed by the Health Committee. Chief and Council have delegated authority to the James Smith Health Committee for the administration and control of health services and programs. The health committee is guided by a Terms of Reference on their roles and responsibilities and the activities described in the 2013-2018 Community Health Plan. The Health Committee members are appointed for a two year term by the Chief and Council. The Committee consists of six Members with one Elder. The Chief and portfolio Council sit on Committee, in an exofficio capacity.
